Last week, I started doing my Personal Photography Project that I call 3P52. This is my second week and the theme I chose is “Tomorrow”.
This photo was taken on a Saturday morning. I drove to this place that I always pass during my morning commute to work, knowing that it would be a good place to shoot sunrise photos. After taking several photos from that area and not really satisfied with the shots because the clouds were so thick and covering the sun, I packed up my camera and tripod and started to head home. Less than a quarter mile away, I saw this beautiful sun starting to come out. Since there really wasn’t a place to park my car and setup my tripod, I decided to just open my window and shoot this scene from inside my car.
To make my hand more steady, I propped my arm on the passenger seat head rest (the scene was to my right). I believe it did the trick. I’m glad I took the time to stop and take this photo even with some constraints, otherwise I would have missed this shot.
If you have a theme you want to suggest for my weekly project, please feel free to email me. Till next week.
